Fuel Authorization and Delivery Information

Authorizations

To obtain fuel at the Baltra station, Galapagos Nautical Services must register the yacht with the fuel state company system, a process known as “Fuel Code Authorization”. This authorization typically takes up to three business days to be issued.

Fuel Prices and Deliveries

A new fuel price is set on the 12th day of each month and remains valid for 30 days. Fuel deliveries are available every day of the week. Yachts must request an almost exact amount of fuel, as it is not possible to purchase additional fuel on the spot or leave behind any requested fuel.

Fuel Dock

The dock at Baltra Island is 80 meters long and 10 meters deep at high tide, equipped with two pipes.

About the Station & Fuel Product

Fuel Supply Information

Fuel delivery can be carried out any day of the week, from 7am until 2pm. However, we recommend scheduling refueling operations between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM due to the high demand from local vessels
There are two options for fueling: Directly from the dock. Receiving fuel directly from an authorized, certified barge.
